Kandyce's Biography

• 9+ years for a local ocean freight carrier (1988-1997) performing accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, commercial collections, light auditing and other duties.

• 9+ years for a local litigation law firm (1997-2007) performing secretarial, paralegal, trial preparation/attendance and other duties.

• ABA accredited A.S. Degree in Paralegal Studies in 2001 from South University located in West Palm Beach, Florida; B.S. Degree in Legal Studies in 2004 from South University.  In addition, Kandyce was an assistant instructor from 2005 - 2008, teaching Legal Research and Writing I and II [book research, WestLaw research and drafting] as well as offering tutoring services to paralegal/legal studies students.

• 3+ years for a local estate planning/probate law firm (2005-current) performing  billing, secretarial and paralegal [litigious probate/trust matters, guardianships].

• Well versed in legal research [WestLaw] as well as drafting court documents and related correspondence.

• 10+ years member of the American Business Women's Association (1997 - current).   Kandyce attends yearly District Conferences as well as ABWA's yearly national conference where she attends seminars dealing with professional and business skills development.  Kandyce is a member of the Northern Palm Beach Chapter and Coral Springs Charter Chapter as well as the 2009 Chair and 2010 Vice Chair for the Tri County Council.      (www.abwa.org).

• 4+ years member of the National Notary Association.  Kandyce attends its yearly conferences.  The National Notary helps Kandyce keep up-to-date with ever changing notary laws as well as training for new and exciting ventures for notaries.  Through NNA, Kandyce has received training as a Certified Notary Signing Agent, Trusted Enrollment Agent, Trusted Notary and e-notarization.(www.nationalnotary.org)
